This second of two sessions will provide space for fathers to discuss how recognizing gender diversity – their own as well as that of their children–influences their parenting. Having spent the weekend exploring a wide, and perhaps overwhelming variety of topics, what is on your mind as the conference comes to a close? Where will you seek support for the feelings that are coming up for you as your child’s gender story unfolds? How can you share fears that you may have for your child’s safety if they end up pursuing some of the ideas or services they learned about during the conference? How can you find a sense of balance with a situation with which you are not, and may never be, comfortable? You do not need to have attended the first Dad’s Group to participate in this workshop.
