Gender and Faith

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Does supporting one’s gender-expansive child mean compromising one’s faith or spiritual path? Can families reconcile their desire to recognize a young person’s authenticity with what may feel like an unsympathetic or even hostile faith community? How might caregivers approach the religious leaders in their lives to seek support or to gain perspectives about their child’s upbringing? Join spiritual leaders, parents and caregivers from across multiple traditions as they explore balancing the desire to access the tremendous support and healing power of one’s faith with the evolving gender of one’s child or teen.
