Tough Cases: What We Are Learning (and didn’t learn in school)

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Gender affirmative child gender programs have been up and running for some time now. Mental health professionals from three of these programs across the U.S. will each present for discussion one of their tough cases that challenge theoretical knowledge, clinical thinking, and/or assessment and direction of mental health interventions with gender-expansive children and their families. Using an advanced clinical case conference model, we will then invite the session participants to join with us in consultation about insights and recommendations for each of the three cases, with opportunities to make connections with their own challenging cases.
