When a child comes out as gender-expansive, parents often begin a parallel coming out process of their own. What does it mean to be the parent of a gender-expansive child? We want to support our children, and we also must figure out what this means for us. In this session we will discuss some of the common emotional landmarks of coming out and transitioning – for parents as well as for children. There will be opportunities to share and to listen, as well as the chance to consider where you are on your own journey.
