Gender and Justice: Real Examples of Gender-Expansive Youth and their Encounters with the Justice System

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

From encountering an officer on the street or administration at your school to being locked up, gender-expansive youth have certain rights that are often violated in our justice system. Expand your awareness and leadership development about both the justice and education systems in our gender and justice workshop. With youth facilitators, this session utilizes film and discussion to reveal present day issues that funnel youth into the criminal/juvenile justice systems.
